The SongTown Christian Edge Group

Join Lindsey O'Halloran, a top Christian music publisher for Anotherland, will work with a limited number of SongTown writers to take your songwriting skills to the next level.

The goal of the Edge Group:

  • To mentor Christian songwriters to the next level through interaction with a top publisher.
  • To help writers learn what is missing in their music.
  • To teach writers how to cast their songs for a particular artist.
  • To prepare writers to be SongTown Staff Writers or Staff Writers with another publishing company.
  • To give writers monthly feedback on one song from a publisher’s perspective.
  • To offer single song contracts and pitch songs that are ready!

Each month, the Edge Group writers get:

  • A 60-90 minute online staff writer meeting with Lindsey O'Halloran. She will go over the most up-to-date pitch sheet available, discuss what Christian artists give you the best shot for a cut, and what those artists are looking for.
  • A writing assignment that is aimed at several label major artists.
  • Feedback on the prior month’s writing assignment. Each month, Lindsey will tell you why your song didn’t work or what makes it a song she can pitch.

Lindsey meets monthly with “The Edge” writers in an online video room to coach and mentor in a group staff writer setting. She will give feedback on your monthly submission in the SongTown forum. And she will pitch any song that she feels is pitchworthy! If you’ve been feeling like you are “on the edge,” apply now to be in The Christian Edge Group and let the SongTown “edge” help you succeed with your music!

Lindsey O'Halloran

VICE PRESIDENT OF CREATIVE A&R, ANOTHERLAND

Lindsey Thompson (Formerly O’Halloran) is a creative executive and A&R shaping the next generation of songwriters and collaborative communities within faith-based and worship music.

She began her career at Capitol Christian Music Group, where she spent seven years developing songwriters and producers, fostering an intentional creative community, and helping songs reach audiences across recorded music, film, and television. During this time, she signed and managed a market-leading roster of songwriters and producers, and played a key role in launching the industry’s first all-female worship songwriting camp, expanding opportunities for women in worship music.

After Capitol CMG, Lindsey continued her work at TRIBL Records (Maverick City Music, Housefires, Etc) as their Vice President of Publishing, supporting a new generation of writers and producers and helping foster collaborative creative communities that expand the sound and reach of contemporary christian and worship music.

She now serves as Vice President of Creative A&R at Anotherland, where she focuses on building supportive ecosystems for artists, writers, and producers while leading initiatives that grow both the genre and the community shaping it.

Throughout her career, Lindsey has been passionate about cultivating songwriting spaces that prioritize collaboration, mentorship, and representation—believing the future of Christian music depends on expanding both its creative boundaries and the voices contributing to it.
