Nic meets monthly with "The Edge" writers in an online video room to coach and mentor in a group staff writer setting. This is perfect for those of you that don't live in a major music city. He'll give you personalized feedback on monthly song submissions in the SongTown website forum. And he will pitch any song that he feels is pitch-worthy! Nicholas Swift is a Co-Founder of DEFI Entertainment. Swift oversees the music publishing, management, label services, and A&R Consultancy departments. DEFI clients include producer/songwriter Sidney Swift (Beyoncé, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Miguel, Lil Dicky, and more), Atlantic Records Digital Artist Chill Pill, and DJ group The Fungineers.

Swift has worked with many world-renowned songwriters and artists, including Justin Bieber, French Montana, Lil Dicky, Hailee Steinfeld, Rodney Jerkins, Poo Bear, Sean Douglas, Ian Kirkpatrick, Aloe Blacc, Demi Lovato, Chromeo, Big Sean, Sabrina Carpenter, Bhad Bhabie, and Panic!AtTheDisco, and many more. Swift has cultivated relationships with songwriters, composers, managers, attorneys, agents, and record label executives.

Application Process

A $15 application fee is required for consideration.  When you apply, you will receive an email with instructions on how to upload your 2 best songs for review.

Membership

The Pop Edge program is $80 per month. The application does not require a SongTown membership. If accepted, membership is required.
